Summary of the 50th Anniversary Ceremony
Since its establishment in 1974, the International Association of Traffic and Safety Sciences (IATSS) has been providing proposals for national policies and international cooperation in the field of traffic safety based on its various activities, including interdisciplinary research and surveys, the 50th anniversary ceremony was held on September 17, 2024 at the Toranomon Hills Forum in Tokyo to commemorate the occasion.

The National Police Agency and the Cabinet Office presented IATSS with a letter of appreciation for its activities, citing the organization's "significant contribution to police traffic administration management through a variety of activities as an international and interdisciplinary research institute on traffic safety.
